ISITC Meets the Regulators
A new working group focusing on regulation is the first of several initiatives for 2012 from the new ISITC chair Jan Ellis Snitzer.

Jan Ellis Snitzer has been busy since she became chair of the financial transaction standards group, the International Securities Association for Institutional Trade Communication (ISITC), this past January for a two-year term. For starters this year, ISITC will be launching a Regulatory Working Group; a global outreach that will involve ISITC Europe, ISITC Asia and other standards organizations; overtures to entice more broker-dealers to join; and an expansion of the markets practice in derivatives. In addition, ISITC will explore leading edge technologies. When not volunteering for ISITC, Snitzer is the Vice President and STP Project Manager for Boston-based investment manager Loomis, Sayles & Co.
