The collaboration is an attempt to put BNY at the forefront of the agentic era of financial services.
Officials at BNY and Google Cloud have announced the integration of Google Cloud’s agentic artificial intelligence (A.I.) platform, Gemini Enterprise, with its advanced models into BNY’s enterprise A.I. platform, Eliza.
“Our collaboration with BNY is at the forefront of the agentic era in finance,” says Rohit Bhat, general manager and managing director of financial services, Google Cloud, in a prepared statement.
The strategic integration is “helping advance Eliza’s agentic deep research capabilities for market analysis and equipping the company’s global workforce with access to multimodal features,” officials say. “BNY has been a long-time user of Google Cloud’s A.I. capabilities and continues to leverage Google’s newest models, including Gemini 3 and Veo 3, to enable diverse A.I. capabilities across its enterprise AI platform.”
The integration will let BNY employees “build A.I. agents to quickly process, synthesize, and analyze extensive financial reports, relevant data, and historical trends to extract insights and navigate complex financial information more efficiently. The integration is also helping automate routine, data-intensive tasks,” officials add.
“At BNY, our A.I. strategy is clear: A.I. for everyone, everywhere and everything,” says Sarthak Pattanaik, chief data and A.I. officer at BNY, in a prepared statement. “The integration underscores our goal to create capacity for our people to embed deeper analysis and strategic insights, adding value in their everyday delivery for clients.”
BNY is the corporate brand of the Bank of New York Mellon Corp., which is headquartered in New York City.
Google Cloud offers a fully integrated A.I. stack with its own infrastructure, custom-built chips, generative A.I. models, development platform, and A.I.-based applications, officials say.
