The NOVA offering leverages a cloud-native, microservices architecture.
CACEIS, an asset servicing provider for E.U. firms, has launched a digital platform for transfer agency services, named NOVA, that leverages a cloud-native, microservices architecture intended to facilitate faster onboarding of new funds and new distribution channels, officials say.
“In an environment where the diversification of investment funds is accelerating – from traditional funds to ETFs, alternative funds and tokenized structures – NOVA … sustainably absorbs rising volumes while enhancing the user experience,” officials say.
In addition to transaction processing, the NOVA platform “integrates high-value, data-driven services augmented by artificial intelligence: enriched reporting, data analytics, decision-support tools and real-time operation monitoring,” officials say. “These services give clients a sharper, more actionable view of their distribution activities.”
The NOVA platform is in keeping with the “Follow-the-Sun, Data Anytime Anywhere” model of CACEIS, which aims for 24/7 operations monitoring, officials add. Clients have begun transitioning to NOVA.
Officials add that CACEIS follows the Agile software development methodology and will be offering “new functionalities and extended integration capabilities.”
CACEIS is the asset servicing banking group of Crédit Agricole and serves asset managers and institutional investors via offices across Europe, North and South America, and Asia, officials say. The group offers execution, clearing, forex, securities lending, custody, depositary, fund administration, fund distribution support, middle-office outsourcing and issuer services.
