CACEIS, the asset servicing banking group of Crédit Agricole, has opened a full-service branch in Stockholm, Sweden, as part of the group’s foray into the Nordic region, officials say.
The office, which has been operational since July 1, has received all necessary authorizations via the Swedish financial regulator, officials say.
Henrik Reinfeldt, country managing director for CACEIS, is overseeing the new branch, located at Jakobsbergsgatan 24 in Stockholm’s financial center. The new office will be “a dedicated hub for the Nordics” that will provide support to clients across Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. “The office shares premises with sister companies Amundi and Crédit Agricole CIB,” officials say.
“This is more than a local branch office; it’s an integrated hub that will channel the full strength of CACEIS’ global network into the region,” says Joe Saliba, deputy general manager in charge of origination countries at CACEIS, in a prepared statement. “Establishing a full-service presence in Stockholm is a natural and essential step in our European strategy.”
CACEIS, which has other offices across Europe, North and South America, and Asia, offers execution, clearing, foreign exchange, securities lending, custody, depositary, fund administration, fund distribution support, middle-office outsourcing, and issuer services, officials say. The group holds €5.9 trillion in assets under custody and €3.7 trillion in assets under administration as of Dec. 31, 2025.
