Eric Bolisay, VP, Head of Derivatives Strategic Operations, T Rowe Price

Eric Bolisay is a Vice President within T. Rowe Price’s Investment Operations and Head of Derivatives Strategic Operations.  Within that role, Eric is responsible for the build out and global support of OTC, cleared, and listed derivatives trading operations at T. Rowe Price.  Eric is chairman of the Complex Products Committee and a member of the Investment Derivatives Committee, in addition to a member of several derivatives-related working groups.  He is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. Eric has over ten years of derivatives and risk management experience and joined T. Rowe Price from MetLife, where he was a Director and Head of Derivatives Risk & Analytics and Collateral Management within Global Investment Operations.  Prior to MetLife, Eric worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he provided derivatives and risk management consulting and advisory services to financial services firms. Eric is graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in applied science.

Jaime A. Madell, Managing Director, Legal Counsel, Guggenheim Partners Investment Management, LLC

Mr. Madell is head of derivatives legal at Guggenheim Partners Investment Management, LLC. In this capacity, he oversees the negotiation, structuring and implementation of derivatives (and related) transactions and regulatory and advocacy matters in connection with the same. Prior to joining Guggenheim, Mr. Madell was an attorney at the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where he represented numerous buy-side and sell-side institutions in their derivatives (and related) matters. Mr. Madell received his B.A. in Music from Columbia University in 2006, his M.M. in Music from Northwestern University School of Music in 2007 and his J.D. from New York University in 2011. Prior to his career in law, Mr. Madell was a researcher in the field of music neuropsychology.

Lauren Gutierrez, Vice President, Goldman Sachs Asset Management

Lauren is a Vice President in the America’s Client Business at Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). She is globally responsible for collateral management opportunities for uncleared swaps and cleared derivatives. Previously, she was a senior member of the Global Risk Management team in the Investment Management Division (IMD), overseeing portfolio and liquidity risk management for GSAM. As part of the Liquidity Risk team, Lauren coordinated the division’s cash management policy, liquidity sizing and thresholds across the GSAM fund complex. Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Lauren worked for the Asset Management practice of Ernst & Young as a New York state CPA. She graduated magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University, with a B.A. in Foreign Languages & Literature and a B.B.A. in Accounting. Lauren earned an MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University. She holds FINRA series 7 and 63 licenses.

Eugene Grygo, Chief Content Officer, Financial Technologies Forum

Eugene Grygo the chief content officer of FTF News, is a business and technology journalist with 31 years of experience. Most recently, he managed a Dow Jones website for breaking news about investment banking, the private equity sector, asset managers, the pension fund industry, structured products and trading technology. Grygo has been covering Wall Street since 1997.He helped launch SCREEN Markets in 2007 and served as editor of SCREEN Magazine. The groundbreaking publication focused on the major market data and financial technology management issues that challenge global institutions. He was also the founding editor of Trading Technology Week, a global newsletter of exclusive news about the IT systems sell-side firms implemented for mission critical transactions.As for accolades, he won the 2000 Gold Award from the American Society of Business Publication Editors for a feature story on an IT project at the US Mint. In addition, editors at Incisive Media and InfoWorld spotlighted his achievements via internal awards. He is an alumnus of The Pennsylvania State University where he earned degrees in journalism and history. He is also an award-winning playwright.
