Part of the Fenergo Investor Portal, the new offering will target “error-prone onboarding.”
Fenergo, a provider of client lifecycle management (CLM) software, has launched its Digital Subscriptions offering, part of the Fenergo Investor Portal, to “address the fragmented, manual and error-prone onboarding and fund subscription processes” that burden asset managers with time, revenue, and client costs.
Described as “a new chapter” for the buy side, the new effort aims to address the fragmentation “at the center of fund distribution,” officials say.
The Digital Subscriptions capability is intended to help “buy-side firms to digitalize and connect the end-to-end investor onboarding and fund subscription process, eliminating long-standing inefficiencies and fragmentation,” officials say.
“Despite significant advances in KYC [know your customer] and investor onboarding, subscription agreements have remained largely manual, paper-based, and disconnected from the broader client lifecycle. Fenergo’s Digital Subscriptions address this gap by transforming traditional subscription documents into dynamic, structured, and robust digital workflows, seamlessly embedded within a unified portal experience,” officials say.
The Digital Subscriptions delivered via the Fenergo Portal can help asset managers and other buy-side firms “offer investors a single, intuitive digital journey — from onboarding through to capital commitment,” officials add. “This removes duplication, reduces manual intervention, and enhances the overall investor experience.”
The solution is an add-on to Fenergo’s CLM platform, “allowing existing clients to extend their digital capabilities while maintaining a consistent data and compliance framework,” according to Fenergo.
