FTF announces the nominations for the more than 30 categories of the 2026 FTF Awards program.
The nominations are out for the 2026 FTF News Technology Innovation Awards program — now in its 15th year — and the nominees represent industry surges toward cutting-edge instruments and technologies, such as digital assets and generative A.I. The nominations also reflect the dynamics of the securities industry, such as the major shift toward private markets.
Produced by Financial Technologies Forum (FTF), the awards program unveiled its list of nominees on April 6, which marks the start of the voting process. Voting will close on May 1, and the FTF Awards winners will be announced on June 5. A gala event celebrating the winners will be held at The Venue on Music Row at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City. The official date for the gala will be announced soon.
Since the awards program began in 2011, the FTF Awards winners have been chosen by their peers in the securities operations industry through a vetted voting process. The annual awards process, which reviews accomplishments in the year prior, was created to recognize the operational excellence of securities operations professionals, financial technology vendors, service providers, industry groups, and individuals.
“As we celebrate the 15th anniversary of the FTF Awards, it’s hard not to reflect on how much has changed, and how much hasn’t. The industry has grown, and the program along with it, bringing more categories, more nominees, and more companies competing for recognition each year,” says Maureen Lowe, the president and founder of FTF, LLC. “What hasn’t changed is how winners are chosen — by the clients, partners, and peers in the industry they serve. That longevity means something. Fifteen years of a consistent, peer-driven process — one the industry keeps showing up for — further validates the recognition being shortlisted deserves.”
