The firm has deployed CWAN’s Enfusion platform.
Credit-focused investment manager Orange Investment Advisors has chosen investment management technology platform Clearwater Analytics (CWAN) to revamp front-to-back investment operations across its structured credit portfolio.
A specialist in structured credit strategies with an active, value-based tilt, Orange has deployed CWAN’s Enfusion platform, providing the asset manager with an integrated portfolio management system (PMS), order management system (OMS), and execution platform for the first time, officials say.
The deal comes against a backdrop of buy-side firms searching for technology to address the headache of fragmented operating models, while also scaling their businesses to handle more complex asset classes.
Orange had been seeking a tool to consolidate its portfolio and order management systems, and execution workflows, alongside a shared data model so it could manage trades and positions from a single interface rather than shuttling data between multiple systems. The firm is now able to operate from a single source of truth, from trade capture all the way down to reporting.
Officials at the firm say this will help modernize operations by enabling real-time decision-making, stronger operational control, and institutional-grade reporting. Jay Menozzi, chief investment officer at Orange Investment Advisors, says in a prepared statement: “This gives our teams a single source of truth from trade capture through reporting, with fewer breaks, clearer controls, and faster answers when clients ask questions.”
