Having entered the sixth phase of UMR, the OTC derivatives industry is now mainstreaming UMR compliance and starting to move towards optimizing performance under the broader regulatory framework that UMR is now part of. To achieve optimal performance, market participants are challenged to create a more holistic approach towards risk, margin, and collateral.
