For this year and beyond, the clients of Broadridge Financial Solutions are embracing global strategies, says Charlie Marchesani, president, global technology and operations (GTO), Broadridge Financial Solutions.
Marchesani, the 2017 recipient of the Ops Business Person of the Year, spoke to FTF News at the awards gala in New York City on June 20. The awards gala was held at the Dream Downtown Hotel.
While Broadridge’s clients are facing many challenges such as the high cost of capital, they are embracing global strategies for this year and beyond, Marchesani says.
“A significant amount of the focus we have right now is on the global side. So, clients are moving toward a global technology model as well as a global operating model,” Marchesani says in the video.
“That gives them scale, and as we all know, the world is converging. So, it’s not a U.S. marketplace. It’s not a European marketplace. It’s not an Asian marketplace. It’s one, global marketplace and we’ve been making significant investments in our global technology and product roadmap to provide our clients with a global technology model as well as a global operational model. That’s under the banner of what we call our ‘Global Post-Trade Management solutions.”
