Swiss asset manager Unigestion has selected the SimCorp Dimension platform to bolster its front and middle office operations throughout its investment lines, according to a SimCorp statement.
Unigestion will use SimCorp Dimension for trade, order and portfolio management, compliance, performance, net asset value (NAV) control, data warehousing and reporting, according to the vendor’s statement.
Unigestion is headquartered in Geneva and has several offices in global financial centers such as Zurich, London, Paris, New York, Toronto and Singapore. The firm has 174 employees from 19 nationalities.
As of June 2014, Unigestion has $16.1 billion of assets under management, according to the firm’s website. Ninety-four percent of the AUM is “managed on behalf of 250 institutional investors and 6% on behalf of a few high net worth families,” according to Unigestion. The firm offers investment strategies for equities, hedge funds, private assets and cross-asset solutions.
“With half of our assets managed through segregated mandates, we have a proven capability of understanding our clients’ objectives and designing strategies tailored to their needs,” according to the Unigestion website. “Our areas of investment expertise allow us to build customized solutions that fit within the usual buckets of institutional investors’ asset allocation.”
