FTF News got time with Mal Cullen, the CEO of Eagle Investment Systems, in mid-May at a gala event in New York, celebrating the winners of the 2016 FTF News Technology Innovation Awards.
In late April, Financial Technologies Forum (FTF) announced the winners of the awards competition and voters selected Eagle Investment Systems for Best Enterprise Data Management Solution and Best Performance Measurement and Attribution System.
For the video interview, Cullen touched on key operations data management issues on the horizon such as Eagle’s ongoing reinvestment in its platforms to make certain that they feature state-of-the-art IT and offer updated regulatory support. Eagle is also focused on its role as the strategic platform provider for BNY Mellon, global expansion into Europe and Asia-Pacific, and an embrace of a native model for cloud computing to benefit key product lines.
The provider is also focused on enterprise data management (EDM) challenges such as front-office systems that need more data and a broader range of information all delivered faster via an enterprise platform, Cullen says.
Cullen joined Eagle in 2001 as head of Canadian operations and served as head of the Americas and Eagle Access with responsibility for the operations of Eagle’s secure private cloud offering and its North American business, according to Eagle officials.
