How should financial services firms keep talented staff members happy, especially those on a performance measurement team?
This question and others were posed to Jeremy Welch, vice president, BNP Paribas, when he spoke with FTF News during a break at FTF’s Performance Measurement Americas conference in New York City this past March.
“One of the biggest things we find at BNP Paribas is that people are more interested in feeling engaged and being involved in the day-to-day operations, more so than the financial, monetary gains because those are usually short lived,” Welch says, during the video interview. “So, if people see what their work is going towards and what they’re progressing to, they actually have more buy-in on the day-to-day and keep themselves motivated.”
Welch was a panelist for two PMA sessions, “Keeping the Team Happy” and “Making the Case for More Resources.”
