Agentic AI is transforming securities operations, overhauling workflows while creating greater demand for data, says Bob Ward, CEO, of QUODD, which won the Best Cloud & Infrastructure Modernization Solution at the 2026 FTF News Technology Innovation Awards. Ward and David Kirk, chief technology officer (CTO) for the provider of customized market data delivered via a cloud-based infrastructure, participated in the FTF News video chat.
“With the rise of agentic AI, you’re getting more users in the space,” Ward says. As a result, the new workflows have more data needs. “So it’s sort of like a tsunami of information that’s now moving up within this ecosystem.”
QUOOD’s mission is to help companies “streamline, organize, and simplify” how they manage “a very, very massive amount of data moving across the economy,” Ward adds.
“It’s actually a natural extension of where we’ve already been because we were already trying to automate these workflows, but we’ve kind of got this accelerator through A,I.,” Kirk says. “It just puts it on a rocket ship.”
